Dressed up in assorted Punjabi costumes, the students performed on various Punjabi tunes and dance numbers in the school foyer. Everyone present at the school foyer had a gala time and could not resist themselves from tapping their feet. In a brief narration, the children were also told about Guru Govind Singh and his message of life, along with an enlightening speech on the importance of Jaliawalan Bagh incident which took place on the same date in the year 1919.

The toddlers dressed up in Punjabi costumes; boys sporting colourful turbans and the girls sporting long Punjabi plaits, performed on dances like Bhangra & Gidda, while few students recited poems. Speaking at the function, Ms. Jyoti Singh, Managing Director of the school said, “With such functions we aim to spread the message of our rich cultural heritage and diversity among our students, and also give them an opportunity to explore their creative side.
